Sponsored the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Dogtown St. Patrick's Day Parade was created in 1984 to highlight the contributions of the Irish people to America. The parade begins at Tamm and Oakland. The route travels down Tamm, past St. James the Greater Church to Manchester Ave. Each year’s parade features over 90 units and floats highlighting Irish dancing, music and salutes to Irish history and culture.

During the parade, St. James the Greater will be open for visiting and tours, with coloring pages and snacks for kids, and private space available for nursing moms.

Each year St. James auctions off two viewing stations on the church lawn to watch the parade. Proceeds from this auction go to support the parish as we work to help people seek Christ and share His gospel with our city. Learn more and place your bid today!
